It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnye Newell of Saint Marys, Georgia, who passed away on September 16, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ronnye leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ronnye may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Balutis and Stella Danishefsky Balutis; her husband Glenn Newell; and her brothers, Frank Balutis and Lenny Balutis.

She is survived by: her daughter Ashley Thomas (Perks); her son-in-law Shane Thomas; and her grandchildren, Chelsea Thomas and Liam Thomas.
