He was predeceased by : his parents, Londis Rewis and Ruby Taylor Rewis; his wife Sandra Kay Rewis; his siblings, Ronnie Wilbert Rewis (Pete), Johnita Rewis Dykes and Vicky Rewis Adams; and his nephews, Charles Brock Rewis (Chuck) and Ronald Jeffery Rewis (Jeff).

He is survived by : his brother Donald Rewis (Norma) of Doraville, GA; and his brothers-in-law, Joel Adams of Nicholls, GA and Marcus Dykes of Hazlehurst, GA. He is also survived by extended families as well as several close friends.
