He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary McCarty Dunlap and Edgar Fain Dunlap; and his brother Edgar Dunlap, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Cheves Dunlap; his stepdaughter Tracie Dawn Alvis; his brother John Kennedy Dunlap; and his nephew John Miller Dunlap of Atlanta.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wesley Church at Frederica, Hospice of the Golden Isles or English Springer Rescue Association (ESRA).
