It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Sheppard (Sandersville, Georgia), born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmitt Lee Holmes and Hattie Virginia Kelly Holmes. She is survived by: her children, Howard Clifford "Cliff" Sheppard Jr. (Dianne) of Sandersville and Sharon Sheppard Ouzts (Henry) of Eatonton; her grandchildren, Howard Clifford "Trey" Sheppard III (Emily) of Sandersville, Mitchell Scott "Mitch" Sheppard (Brannen) of Sandersville, Cortland Cunningham "Cort" Ouzts (Carly) of Charlotte, NC. and Jamie Ouzts Reese (Jake) of Albany; her great grandchildren, Howard Clifford "Ford" Sheppard IV, Anne Marie Sheppard, Emerson Callaway Sheppard, Benjamin Jones Sheppard, Julia Pierce Sheppard, Mitchell Scott Sheppard Jr., Sims Callaway Sheppard, Elizabeth Dean Ouzts, Carlyn Virginia Reese, Suzanna Roberts Reese and John Sheppard Reese; and her sisters, Carolyn H. Marchman (Billy) of Atlanta and Linda H. Garrett of Sandersville.
