It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Fred Brantley of Sandersville, Georgia, who passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Eugene Brantley and Allie Fowler McDonald; his sister Paulette Jones; and his foster brother Craig Willimason. He is survived by: his daughters, Madison Rickman (Tara) of Knoxville, TN, Hallie Brantley of Guntersville, AL and Hannah Brantley of Athens; his grandson Kayden Brantley; his siblings, Angela Garnto of Sandersville, Jay Brantley of Sandersville and Emily Zaenglein of Sandersville; his siblings' children, Kaitlin Jones (Jenna Hodges Jones), Josh Garnto, Jake Zaenglein and Seth Jones (Whitney); his great-nephews, Jackson, Harrison and John Paul; and his pet Delilah.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the May and Smith Funeral Home (1119 GA-242, Sandersville, GA 31082).
The family suggest donations be made in Mr. Brantley's memory to the Sandersville-Washington County Animal Shelter, 430 Beck Blvd., Sandersville, GA 31082; or to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
