He is survived by: his sister Addie Green (Paul); his sister-in-law Gussie Kelsey; his aunt Jessie R. Davis; his nieces and nephews, Stewart A. Merrell, Darrell Fraley, Stewart W. Merrell, Jr., Shanona Merrell-Settles (Allen), Iralanette Cheely (Justin) and Branehia Merrell; and his cousins, Sammie Merrell (Annie Lois), Stella Hill (James), Brenda Merrell Miller (James), Daisy Maze (JC) and William Burden (Alfreda). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
