She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard T. Hattaway Sr. and Ella Mary Walker Hattaway; her son Jerry May; and her siblings, Albert "Sonny" Hattaway and Catherine H. Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy M. Corbett (Stephen) of Deepstep and Tommy May (Tammy) of Warthen; her daughter-in-law Jan P. May of Lakeland, FL.; her grandchildren, Stephen Corbett Jr. of Olivia May, J. W, Jed May, Walker May and Jesslyn M. Foskey; her great grandchildren, Heather Corbett, Zoe Jenkins, Stephen "Trip" Corbett III, Jaxon Corbett, Wesley Corbett, Ellie May Foskey, Isiah Pittman, Harper Pittman, Tate May and John Cullen Jenkins; her brother Richard T. "Bud" Hattaway; her close friends, John and Merion Sheppard; and her pet Tybee.
