Ann Kaplan Obituary

We announce the death of Ann Kaplan (Sandy Springs, Georgia), who passed away on July 8, 2026, at the age of 97. Ann will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Meir Tabaksman and Cipe Tabaksman. She is survived by: her siblings, Ethel, Sadie, Madeline and Shmuel; her extended family Molly; her husband Irving Sunshine; her sons, Ted Kaplan, Dr. Alan Sunshine (Betty) and Stan Sunshine (Luci); and her grandsons, Michael Sunshine (Maya), Justin Sunshine (Jennifer), Marshall Sunshine (Meredith) and Blake Leiber (Adam). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, July 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Arlington Memorial Park (201 Mount Vernon Hwy NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30328). For information about Shiva, please contact the family.
