With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Shavin of Sandy Springs, Georgia, who passed away on May 30, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Grumet and Julia Grumet (Feinberg); her husband Norman Shavin; her close friend Alvin Boskoff; and her great grandchild Jack Menachem Samuels.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Shavin (Harry), Mark Shavin (Marla) and Dana Shavin (Daryl); her grandchildren, Leah Katz (Omar), Jesse Katz, Amadea Katz, Naomi Shavin (Ben), Adam Shavin and Sarah Shavin; and her caregivers, Phyllis, Mila, Shea, Selam, Shirlee and Grace.
