We announce the death of Richard Gower (Sandy Springs, Georgia), who passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 78. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his sons, Michael (Shari) and Daniel (Chloe Simon); his grandchildren, Dahlia and Ari Gower; his brothers, Michael Gower (Barbara) and Billy Gower (Sandy); his brother-in-law Victor Benbenisty (Lorna); and his nieces and nephews, David Gower (Kim), Gail Aldrich (David), Keith Benbenisty (Siobhan), Ellen Baldino (Marcus), Lara Cherry (Josh), Jennifer Side (Joey) and Steven Gower (Kara). He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, and two great-great nieces.
