She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtice Waters Gay of Sardis, GA and Jean Earnest Gay of Lausanne, Switzerland.. She is survived by: her husband David Coles; her daughter Elizabeth; her son-in-law Clint Johnson; her grandchildren, Cole Johnson (Kelsey), Davis Johnson (Morgan), Graham Johnson (Sydney) and Joy Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Walker Johnson (Cole) and Heath Johnson (Davis). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Johnson Ferry Baptist Church (955 Johnson Ferry Rd, Marietta, GA 30068).
