He was predeceased by: his mother Zelda Dyke Gaston of Columbiana, OH; and his brother William Gaston, Sr. of Lisbon, OH.. He is survived by: his children, James Gaston, Jr. (Georgette) of Talking Rock, GA, Deborah Kubina (Joe) of Poland, OH and Dwaine Gaston (Kris) of Sautee Nacoochee, GA; his grandchildren, Taylor Gaston Kirby (Kevin), Joshua Gaston (Holly), Cristy Painter (Charlie) and Heather Rattelade (Dave); and his pet Suzy.
