He is survived by: his children, Alfred R. Burroughs III, Percy J. Burroughs (Zina) and Jerri Elaine Shuman; his siblings, Willie Ed Burroughs (Corletta) and Maggie Bell Burroughs; and his stepsiblings, Cecil Burroughs, Ruby B. Lane, Vernell B. Sherrod and Jenie Gibson. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
