With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Brown (Savannah, Georgia), who passed away on December 30, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Brown and Jessie Brown; his brothers, James and Johnny Brown; his brother-in-law Christian Rountree (Butch); and also, Sergeant Major F. J., Christine Rountree and Michael Joyner.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his son Walter Brown (Crystal); his grandsons, Hunter and Caden Brown; and his sisters-in-law, Gwen Brown, Suzette Brown, Dorothy Chase and Alice Cole. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Please be prepared to wear a mask and practice social distancing.

“Sorry for your loss. I regret not speaking with Alvin at Johnny's memorial service. I was late and yall left early. Alvin spent time with me on the farm during the summers when he was a boy. Loved those times .I will miss him. If there is any thing I can do, please let me know. Cousin Donald Akins.”
