She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Thrasher Dent and Ira Dent, Sr.; her husband Reginald M. McDuffee; her son Kenneth Reginald McDuffee; her siblings, Sarah Elizabeth Dent, Harriett Dent Graham (Everett), Wylene Dent Parker (Aubrey) and Ira Dent, Jr. (Bessie); and her sister-in-law Barbara Ward (Joe).
She is survived by: her daughters, Cathy Pulkinen (Ed) and Barbara Joy (Juan "Pepi"); her daughter-in-law Kim McDuffee; her grandchildren, Eli Pulkinen, Jacob Pulkinen, Sarah Pulkinen, Brittany Joy Caldwell (Jay), Kenneth Joy, Nicholas McDuffee, Allison Smith and Hannah Smith; and her siblings, Robbie Sue Schneider (Ron) and Joel Dent (Joyce). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel (7200 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the Bonaventure Cemetery (330 Bonaventure Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
