She was predeceased by: her mother Carol Genise Shelton. She is survived by: her father Alan Shelton; her children, Iola, Roberta and Malik; her grandchildren, Sabrina Moody, Brandon Merriweather Jr., Leelani Merriweather and Bernard Sutton Jr.; her siblings, Cornelious Moody and Walter Stokes; and her son-in-law Bernard Sutton. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and a companion.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Families First Funeral Care Chapel (1328 Dean Forest Rd, Savannah, GA 31405).
