We announce the death of Barbara Ann Smith Watson in Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Frank Smith and Bobbie Elizabeth Jones Smith; her husband Bonner Wayne Watson; and her siblings, James Frank "Buddy" Smith Jr. and Jean Elizabeth Smith Hesling.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Denise Litchfield (Jeff Calver) and Michael Wayne Watson; her granddaughters, Lindsey Michelle Litchfield Alexander, Ashley Lyn Litchfield, Virginia Autumn Watson, Brianna MacEachern and Kathleen Moeller; her sister Martha Sue Smith Whitten (Julian); and her nieces, Frances Smith Kohan (Rudy), Shayne Rene Olmstead and Regina Sue Hesling Harrelson.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial donation to Savannah Hospice (Eisenhower Dr.), Calvary Baptist senior ladies craft group or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
