Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Smith and Lorene Smith. She is survived by: her husband Cecil Deal; her son Michael (Debbie Deal); her grandsons, Brandon (Stephanie Deal) and Blake Deal; and her great grandchild Scottie Deal. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gamble Funeral Service (410 Stephenson Ave, Savannah, GA 31405). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Temple (4625 Waters Ave, Savannah, GA 31404).
