She was predeceased by: her mother Marjorie Reed; her siblings, Evyonne Sweeney and James D. Reed; and her stepson John R. Brooks of Brunswick, Georgia.. She is survived by: her husband Thomas L. Brooks; her children, Carol Lancaster (Stan) of Levy, SC, Lisa Lee Moore (Burt) of Tybee Island, GA and Dr. Thomas L. Brooks of Nahunta, GA; and her sister Diann Brooks of Dover, DE. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
