It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Brown Wolling of Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Barbara leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James P. "Jimmy" Brown and Grace S. Brown; her brother James William "Billy" Brown; and her aunts and uncles, Jerome L. Massett, Mildred S. Massett, L. T. Givens and Edna S. Givens.
She is survived by: her son Samuel M. Wolling, Jr. of Chicago, IL; and her cousin Jane Givens Kraft of Cleveland, GA.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park (1600 Wheaton St, Savannah, GA 31404).
