He was predeceased by : his parents, Ellis Stokes and Ruth Stokes; his son Ronnie Stokes; and his sister Elizabeth Stokes. He is survived by : his grandchildren, Jessica Wilkins (Chris Wilkins), Ashley Wilson (Jerrett Wilson) and Kala Preece (Jordan Preece); his wife Minnie Stokes; his brother E. W. Stokes; and his daughter Elaine Costin (Chris Costin). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
