Betty Anne Clanton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Anne Clanton (Savannah, Georgia), who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jerrell V. Clanton of Women's Fellowship; her parents, Ivan Donaldson Creech and Pauline Creech Kelly; her sister Quida Creech Smith; and her grandson Jack Terrell Courie III.
She is survived by: her brothers, Donald Tommy Creech (Lawanda) and Don M.; her sister-in-law Nancy Clanton of Charleston, SC; her nieces, Diane Mitchell, Debra Glaize (Jim) and Donna Keeran (George); her son Jerrell Mark Clanton (Angie); her grandchildren, Jason Courie, Stephanie King (Kent), Holley Kent (John), Jamie Keeran, Ashley Vincent (Chris), Justin Barras, Matthew Coleman and Hunter Barras; and her great grandchildren, Carolyn, Brittany, Brooke, Isabella, Brendan, Miles, Taylor, Abbey, Landon, Tyler, Cove, Ander, Isla, William, Josie and Hudson. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Lawn Memory Gardens (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
