He was predeceased by: his father Robert, Sr.; and his brother Victor Cannon. He is survived by: his close friend Wanda Williams of Darien; his sons, Robert "Rob" Cannon, III (Lauren) of Brunswick and Zachary Cannon of Jesup; his siblings, Faye Moody (Bruce) of Riverdale and Ralph Cannon (Cheryl) of Molena; and his grandchildren, Liam Cannon and Stella Mae Cannon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
