He was predeceased by: his siblings, John, James Carter and Betty Hendrix; and his daughter Terry Parker Morrison. He is survived by: his wife Geri Carter; his sons, Derek Carter (Teresa Coulter) and Greg Bennett (Angie); his grandchildren, Ashley Parker and Gracyn Bennett; and his sibling's children, Sheila Burcham (Rudy), Edward Hendrix (Sherrie) and Robert Hendrix (Vicki).
