He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kelly and Ruth Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Josephine Rourke Kelly; his children, Broughton "Chip" Kelly, Jr. (Jana), Josephine "Jody" Kelly and John R. Kelly (Heather); his grandchildren, Erin Merlie (John), John Kelly (Natalie), Ansley Webb (Zach), Caleigh Rutherford (Kyle), Rourke Kelly, Broughton Kelly and Katherine Kelly; his great grandchildren, Ella Merlie and Samuel Rutherford; and his sisters, Mildred Kelly Edenfield, Mary Kelly Campbell (Michael), Gloria Kelly Skarr (Lloyd) and Georgianna Kelly Stright. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
