He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Morton and Ethel Murray Lowery; his wife Joyce Morton; his stepfather Harold Tip Lowery; and his sister Alice Murray.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Bolton (David), Meranda Johnson (Henry) and Bruce Morton Jr.; his granddaughter Angel Bolton; and his sister Dolores Berkeley (Jane Anglin). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
