She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Gregory Woods and Annie May Hunt Woods; and her husband George P. Dedes. She is survived by: her children, Laurie Dubose (Brian) of Summerville and James Dedes of Savannah, Georgia; her grandchildren, Jessica Robinson, Bonnie Capps and Ivey Dubose; her great grandchildren, Eden Capps and Nathan Robinson of Summerville; and her caregivers, Phyllis, Rebecca, Patrice, Patricia and Cora.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel (4605 US-80, Savannah, GA 31410). A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park (1600 Wheaton St, Savannah, GA 31404).
