With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carole Gates Elliott of Savannah, Georgia, born in Ashland, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 18, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne A. Elliott. She is survived by: her piercing Liz Taylor; her daughter Elizabeth Gresham (Peter); her granddaughters, Catie Gresham and Christen Barron (Nickolas); and her great grandchildren, Ana and Emma Duke.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gamble Funeral Service (410 Stephenson Ave, Savannah, GA 31405). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
