He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise Varnedoe DeMars and Clarence John DeMars, Sr.; and his wife Linda Chapman. He is survived by: his children, Laura DeMars, Elizabeth Graham (Pepper), Charles "Chuck" DeMars, Jr. (Kim-Tai), Ashton DeMars and Clarence DeMars, III; his grandchildren, Natalie Graves (Shane), Henry Graham, Matthew DeMars, Jack Graham and Julia Graham; his pet Felicity; his family Savannah; and his early epic Halloween. He is also survived by extended family including his cherished nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the following charities that Charles supported: The, Atlanta Union Mission, The Frazer Center, and the Special Olympics of Georgia.
