He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Byrd and MaryEllis Jones Izlar; and his brother Jack B. Izlar, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Janice; his son Ellis Izlar of London, England.; his brother Robert; and his sisters-in-law, Kay Izlar of Plano, TX and Patricia Izlar of Bamberg, SC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM and on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel (7200 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406).
