He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnson and Lillian Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen T. Johnson; his niece Teresa McNair of Cambridge, MD; and his in-laws, Frederick Bazemore of Little Elm, Frances Calvert (Kenneth) of St. Louis, MO, Dr. Felicia Foster Barnett of Hampton, VA and Mary C. Hill of Savannah, GA. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Services (510 Stephenson Ave, Savannah, GA 31405). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Benedict the Moor Catholic Church (441 E Broad St, Savannah, GA 31401). A burial was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Catholic Cemetery (1720 Wheaton St, Savannah, GA 31404).
Clevon was a member of the Georgia Association of Educators, Phi Delta Kappa Education Society, and was a Danford Foundation Fellow.
