He was predeceased by: his parent Clifton Jones Sr. (Catherine Morgan Campbell); and his wife Ernestine Jenkins. He is survived by: his children, Edwin, Daryl, Glynda, Karen and Una Satchell Jenkins; his grandchildren, Jameelah, James and Jameel; his niece Gloria Brown; his sister-in-law Eloise Barnes; and his close friends, Clarence Holmes and Joe Lovett. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be sent to Savannah State University, to the Education Scholarship Fund established in memory of Ernestine J. Jones and Nathaniel "Bunny" Jenkins (Ernestine's brother), who were educators.
