We announce the death of Connie Riner of Savannah, Georgia, who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 80. Connie’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roey Perry Riner and Irene Claxton Riner; and her siblings, Raymond Riner (Ava) and Joyce Riner Crumpton (Sam). She is survived by: her children, Andy Bedgood (Marie) of Rincon, Mitchell Bedgood (Don Whitmire) of Atlanta and Roxanne Bedgood Pierce of Rincon. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; several other family members.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the United Primitive Baptist Church (242 W Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at the TBD Swainsboro City Cemetery (101 W Main St, Swainsboro, GA 30401).
