He is survived by: his wife Anna Coby Brannon; his children, Christina Collins (Austin) of Columbia, SC, Cynthia Brannon of Savannah, Samantha Brannon of Savannah, David R. Brannon, Jr. of Tennessee and Charles Brannon (Dana) of West Virginia; and his sisters, Brenda Donaldson and Glenda Brooks. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
