She is survived by: her children, James J. Witt Jr. (Julie Woody) and Jackie Griffin (Joshua Griffin); her grandchildren, Hailey Maddox, Riley Maddox, Kye Griffin and Kolt Griffin; and her siblings, Donald Kniphfer, Eddie Kniphfer, Waring Kniphfer, Gloria Chapman, Teresa Kniphfer and Connie Jiran.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Abbey East Memorial Park Cemetery (1600 Wheaton St, Savannah, GA 31404).
