He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Watson and Helen Watson; and his brother Larry Watson. He is survived by: his wife Sally Nelson Watson of Savannah, GA.; his daughters, Joyce Watson Lane (Josh) of Cleveland, TN and Julie Watson Johnson (Justin) of Tampa, FL.; his grandchildren, Madison Lane, Judah Johnson, Dawson Lane and Asher Johnson; his siblings, Virginia Watson Thompson (Johnnie) of Sparta, GA and Dennis Watson of Warner Robins, GA; and his brother-in-law Artie Nelson of Savannah, GA.. He is also survived by several nieces, a nephew, and godsons.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Port City Church (401 Tibet Ave, Savannah, GA 31406). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
