Dempsey Q. Logue Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dempsey Q. Logue (Savannah, Georgia), who passed away on June 14, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dempsey Stoney and Vera May Logue; his brother Clarence R. Logue (Bunny); and his grandchildren, Robin E. Hicks, Lance Vogeler and W. Jason Crawford.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Potter Logue; his children, Dempsey L. (Dink), Robin M. Chappell (Marcie), Charles R. (Bobby), Christopher M. (Chris), Lisa L. Crawford (Mike), Michelle L. Vickery (Donald), Chantal L. Cail (David, Sr.), Wendel Logue (Shanon) and Rochelle L. Matthews (Jeff); and his siblings, Linda L. Bowers and Bill Logue (Genelta). He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 35 greatgrandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel (7200 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). A rosary will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (11500 Middleground Rd, Savannah, GA 31419). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Remembrances may be made to the Pave the Way Fund at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church.
