She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Quinlon James and Louisa Brown James; her former husband Bobbie J. Lanier; and her siblings, Lawrence Hill and Louisa Petray.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Lanier, Karen Floyd (Ron) and Melissa Jenkins (Cam); her grandchildren, Garrett Floyd, Trent Jenkins, Christopher Lanier and Stephanie Lanier Gehrisch; and her husband Robert Griner (Bob). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
