She was predeceased by: her parents, George Embree and Elizabeth Thompson Jackson. She is survived by: her husband Richard; her son Richard; her grandchildren, Richard (Abigail), Jackson (Julia), Stokes, Lucy, Wick, Breece, Thomas, Gabe, Embree and Beau; her great grandchild Ansley; and her brother George Jackson Jr.. She is also survived by cousins, relatives, and friends.
A rosary will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel (7200 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist (222 E Harris St, Savannah, GA 31401). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at the Catholic Cemetery (1420 Wheaton St, Savannah, GA 31404).
