As we bid Douglas farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Douglas is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Good and Dorothy Good; his former wife Judy Good; and his brother Gregory Good of Buckeye, Arizona.. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Good of Savannah, Georgia; his daughters, Dee Dee Cook (Jeff) of Oregon, Natalie Good and Elizabeth Good of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his stepsons, Grant Backus (Stephanie) and Arden Backus of Bluffton, S. C.; and his siblings, Steve Good (Judy) of Spencer, Iowa, Tom Good (Judy) of Johnston and Deborah Koval (Richard) of Keaau, Hawaii. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Fox and Weeks Funeral Home (7200 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406).
