He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Lynch Wells. He is survived by: his children, Virginia Lee Bruner (Clyde) of Metter, Diane Marie Patrick of Savannah, Gerald P. Wells, Jr. (Karen) of Savannah, Edward Russell Wells (Debbie) of Savannah and Timothy Paul Wells (Jennifer) of Metter; his sister Irene; and his grandsons, Christopher Bruner, Michael Joseph Pena, Stephen Matthew Pena and Gerald P. Wells, III. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
