He is survived by: his son John C.; his daughter-in-law Karen McCarthy; his grandsons, John Brian McCarthy, Sr. and Sean Christopher McCarthy (Sarah); and his great grandchildren, Kimber McCarthy, Jace McCarthy and John Brian McCarthy, Jr..
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at the Baker McCullough Funeral Home, Hodgson Memorial Chapel (7415 Hodgson Memorial Dr, Savannah, GA 31406). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist (222 E Harris St, Savannah, GA 31401).
