He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Crumley and Nina Crumley; his wife Thelma; his daughter Carolyn; his son-in-law Kevin Shannon; his son John Comer; and his siblings, Bill, Buck, Harold, Danny, Snuffy, Robert, Rachel and Wildred.
He is survived by: his sister Sara Joe Fairfield; his sons, David Comer (Anne) and Richard Crumley; his daughter-in-law Janis Comer; and his sister-in-law Ruth Crumley. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild, along with several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Temple (4625 Waters Ave, Savannah, GA 31404). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
