In loving memory of James Landrum Melton of Savannah, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who departed this world on April 9, 2025 at the age of 84. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Melton and Dora Melton; his son Thomas Melton; and his uncle Francis L Melton (Pete). He is survived by: his wife Eloise C Melton; his sons, James L. Melton, Jr. and Jonathan E. Melton; his granddaughter Madison Cassedy (Austin Haskins); his brother Jack A. Melton (Bunny); his nieces, Jill Terry (Jason) and Katherine Robinson; and his nephew Craig Melton (Lauren). He is also survived by grandnieces, grandnephews, and their children.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Skidaway Island Presbyterian Church (50 Diamond Causeway, Savannah, GA 31411).
