We are sad to announce that on April 28, 2025, at the age of 91, Jeanette Emily Moye of Savannah, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jeanette had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jeanette may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her children, W. Gene Moye (Tarsha), Patricia Cutter and Lavern Moye-Young (Kevin); her stepson Monroe Thomas; and her sister-in-law Geraldine Roberts. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Sylvania Funeral Home of Savannah (102 Owens Industrial, Savannah, GA 31405). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sylvania Funeral Home, Inc. (905 S Main St, Sylvania, GA 30467).
