The passing of Jerome J. McLaughlin of Savannah, Georgia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on April 20, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William John and Dorothy Ruth McLaughlin (Sullivan); his brother Joseph McLaughlin; and his nephew Brian McLaughlin. He is survived by: his wife Denise; his brother William McLaughlin (Marianne); his nieces, Meghan Zelles (Ned) and Kara McLaughlin; his nephew Kevin McLaughlin; his great-nieces, Margaret, Haley and Reagan Zelles; his cousins, Margaret Young (Alex) and Katherine Smith (late Kenneth); and his pets, Duffy, Murphy, Annie and Oliver.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mighty Eighth Museum (175 Bourne Ave, Pooler, GA 31322). A burial will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at the Museum's Memorial Garden.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the City of Savannah B-17 Restoration Project at the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, 175 Bourne Avenue, Pooler, Georgia 31322.
