He is survived by: his wife Peggy Simmons; his children, Jeremy Simmons (Amanda) and Wanda McDaniel; his stepson John Quincy; his grandchildren, Reagan, Riley, Reeve and Rebecca; his stepgrandsons, Christopher and Austin; and his sisters, Mamie Lou Phillips and Annie Mae Walls.
