Jim Golz Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2025, at the age of 76, Jim Golz (Savannah, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jim departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jim. Though Jim may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Golz and Arlie Golz (Parker). He is survived by: his wife Jane Golz; his children, Matt Golz (Jenna), Parker Golz and Abigail Golz; and his grandchildren, Harrison, Emily and Taylor.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas Episcopal Church (2 St Thomas Ave, Savannah, GA 31406).
A Memorial Fund has been established in his honor at Kids Café/Second Harvest Food Bank, Savannah, Georgia.
