He was predeceased by: his daughter Joy Yvonne Smith; his parents, Howard E. Smith and Frances Bradford Smith; and his brothers, Jerry Howard Smith and Donald Smith.
He is survived by: his son Jordan Smith (Crisel); his grandchildren, Gage Branhan, Zander Branhan and Jason Phengsavathdy Smith; and his sister Rose Beaker. He is also survived by several loving nieces, as well as great nieces and great nephews.
