He is survived by: his wife Carol; his child Christy Ellis (Marty); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Cooper (Andrue), Andrew Howard, Caroline Howard and Haley Ellis; his sister Linda Pounds; and his sibling's child Earen (Catherine).
